Remove comment count when comments not allowed

  • I apologize if this has been answered elsewhere – I’ve looked but haven’t found an answer to this specifically:

    When I disable comments for a post, I still get:

    No Comments Yet
    Sorry, commenting is not allowed for this article.

    at the bottom of the post. Is there an easy way to hide or completely remove this info?
