Remove comments against individual photos in a photo gallery in Yoko Theme

Hello,

I’m trying to found out how to remove or hide the option to Comment on an individual photograph in a Photo Gallery. My site is using the Yoko theme. I have seen this issue dealt with for at least one other theme, but the guidance provide as a work around does not seem to work for my theme. I have comments turned OFF for the pages with photo galleries, but if I select a specific image, then Comments are invited. I do not want this. Here is an example of a page with a photo gallery on the site:
