remove comments fields

  • I am trying to remove the comments box which appears at the bottom of each of my pages. I have looked online for the answer, and there was a tonne of people from about 3 years ago asking for the same answer, and they were referring to a “quickedit” and unchecking a box from there.

    I can not see where “quickedit” is, and everywhere I have looked, the comments boxes are unchecked already!

    Please help!

  • “Quickedit”
    1) Go to WP Dashboard>Pages
    2) Hover over the page name
    3) You will see 4 options: “Edit, Quick Edit, Trash, View”
    4) Untick “Allow Comments”

    If that’s not working, you can also delete the comment code from your page.php
