Remove "Comments Off" Text from Vertigo 1.30-wpcom Theme

I found the ability to turn comments off on pages (in the Quick Edit view), but can’t figure out how to remove the “Comments Off” text from the bottom of each page’s text in theme Vertigo 1.30-wpcom. I would like to leave the comments on the posts/blog page. The site is https://www.offonmonday.com/

Any suggestions? I took a look in the comments.php code, but wasn’t sure what to edit there.
