Remove/conflict

  • A message for Tony Hayes hopefully you can help 2 updates ago the plugin as conflicted my page if you look at the Geoff Dorset page the bit at the top as appeared. Is there away to remove the picture and schedule on the page so just my bit can appear. The below was Tony’s answer.

    It looks like your Show Page template is breaking for some reason. Can you please post this page to https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/radio-station Support forum, so Tony Hayes can get back to you with a suggestion. I don’t see a site with the logo that you have there at the top left. ConquestHostpitalRadio.co.uk has a different logo and I can’t find that exact page without a link to it. I did find something like this: https://conquesthospitalradio.co.uk/show/dorsets-decades/ And, that looks correct. Some of your show pages have just that on the page, while some of your other show pages have what you’re showing me here, but the page template is full width and the left sidebar below with the blue buttons doesn’t load all the way and is cut off.

    I will say this – what we introduced with the featured avatar on the left and the show details on the right most likely breaks the show template for a lot of folks with custom pages. You should use the Show Logo instead of featured image for the small thumbnail on the left and you should use featured image for a full width page image of the show host at the mic. But please post this to the support forum so we can work on it with you.

    I’m using Twenty Nineteen theme with Divi installed the url is on all the presenter pages https://conquesthospitalradio.co.uk/show/dorsets-decades/. It worked great when you did the original update 2.3.0 but since then it broke.

    Okay, thanks for this info. Did you read this: https://netmix.com/radio-station-2-3-0-release/. Is that helpful to you to resolve your issue with your template?

    Thanks Tony managed to roll it back to version 2.3.0 which sorted the problem and removed the issues https://conquesthospitalradio.co.uk/show/the-breakfast-show/ hopefully at a later date this can be done with the latest update maybe give the option to remove the bit at the top of each profile.     @chr01 Sorry I seem to have missed this earlier, I’m not sure I’m understanding the difference you are getting between the two versions. I don’t recall any changes to the Shows template lately (as we have been working on other parts of the plugin.)

    Having not seem the page when it was live perhaps you can send some screenshots? It does sound like it’s possible something is breaking in the PHP preventing the rest of the page from outputting but it’s hard to say without seeing the page source. (If that is the case there may be an error in your PHP error logs.)

    It’s quite possible to hide page sections with some CSS, that is not difficult, but if something is actually breaking it will take more investigation to determine what.
