The delete for CSS is the code I gave you.

The issue is that the slider wording shares the same code.

If you had a child theme you could just remove the php from the page and leave the wording for the slider.

A child theme is basically a copy of the original theme so when you edit code you not lose it when the theme is updated by the developer.
