I’m using the permalinks on my WordPress posts. My permalink code is

    best/%postname%/%category%/
so links include category name and best keyword and it’s working fine but the problem is this best custom keyword show in category slug also like it.

    best/%category%/
I want to remove the best custom keyword from all category URLs. I want it show only on post permalinks please help me out how to do it

Set the category in Category base setting and save the permalink, this should solve your issue.

thanks for reply but tell me where I set it because where I create or edit category its show like it URL its working fine but in front theme its include
    best/%category%/

because I use best keyword in our premalinks setting for our post. but I don’t want its show for category but its show for category
we need a ADD Filter which remove best keyword from my all category URL but not from post url

On the permalink page you’ll see settings to set Category base and Tag base
