Hi, I’m not sure if this is the right place to post this, but it’s the closest to my issue that I can find.
I was trying to sign up for a Izea and needed to connect my blog. When I do I get the message “That site does not seem to be accessible or no longer has the Jetpack plugin installed.”
I logged into WordPress, which admittedly I only have done once (my blog is new though). Under “My Sites” I have a red warning triangle that says “Can’t access this site data.”
When I click on Settings I get error messages that say “Can’t access this site data” and There was an error retrieving your site settings. Make sure your Jetpack is up to date.” However Jetpack is up to date.
On Settings I am also being blocked from entering a Site Title, Tagline and changing Site Visibility. I can’t enter a cursor in these fields and the “Save Settings” button is even blurred out preventing me from clicking.
Something is wrong and I’m not sure how to fix it. I want to get rid of these error messages…and I wonder about the importance of site settings (title, tagline, visibility) because if they’re important then I want to know how to unblock things so I can edit properly.
I should also mention that I haven’t noticed any site issues related to this. Jetpack is up and running on the website and I can see stats in my Dashboard.
If this is the wrong forum for this question, please let me know and I’ll post it in the correct forum.
I appreciate any help I can get, even if you can only point me to another source.
Thanks in advance,
– Jennifer
