• Good afternoon,

I’m using MailPoet 2.7.6, free version, and when I send a test email from MailPoet to mail-tester.com I loose a lot of points because my DKIM signature is not valid.

But since I’m using the free version why is there even a DKIM signature in the message?!

    My test results are https://www.mail-tester.com/web-l99nh

    Thanks,

  • The free version does not contain DKIM signature, so if your messages are signed, that’s coming from your host. If your host uses cPanel, that’s easy to check and disable.

My host, GoDaddy, does use cPanel but email authentication is disabled. Apparently it’s incompatible with shared hosting. After some investigation and following your suggestions I’m pretty sure it’s Exim mailer on my host that’s causing the problem but GoDaddy doesn’t see it that way and/or isn’t interested in fixing it.
