Remove does not remove

i have a parked domain at my host that points to my wordpress site with a different domain. i successfully added the additional domain & redirected it to a page that’s not the homepage. it worked fine right out of the gate. but later, i decided i wanted to do something different, so i removed that entry. but when you go to the added domain, it still redirects to that page even though it’s been removed. i have tried emptying both wordpress cache & browser cache. i also tried redirecting it to a different page. but it seems stuck on that original redirect. is there a way to purge or reset or something? thanks.
