• I know there must be any easy way to do this, but how do you remove the dot before the category name? For the life of me I can’t figure it out. Of course, I have seen many many people do it. Please help!
    Thanks.

    I’ve been editing my site using my own css and there are no bullets defined, so how could that be the problem?

    Drop a
    list-style:none;
    into the css for the items in question.
    That’ll stop the browser using a default setting.

    ul/li items by default have the bullet. So, unless you turn them off using the method podz linked to, you will get them.

    actually it doesn’t turn them off, it just hides them, and if for some reason your site can’t load the stylesheet they will come back. wordpress automatically generates list tags for certain items even if you don’t have anything about lists in your xhtml or css, which is confusing for many people but you’ll get used to it.
