    Hi,
I saw that the feed also contains all empty attributes.
is it possible not to add them in the feed? some values ??I have to add directly on Amazon and should not be deleted in the next step.
If I set them as empty they are still inserted.

    Thanks
    Marco

    Hi Marco.

    Thanks for reaching out today.

If they are required fields then you must provide values for them or else the entire feed will fail which will stop WP-Lister from being able to update the listings on Amazon.

If they are not required fields, you could download your own feed custom feed templates from Amazon which allows you to edit them how you please. You can download entire feed templates or just the basic fields when creating a feed on Amazon that can then be uploaded to WP-Lister.

To do this, you can click the “Add products via upload” menu option in the “inventory” section of your Amazon account in the top menu then go through step 1 and 2 and then click “Generate template” button to create your own custom feed templates which you can download and upload to WP-Lister (in the right hand sidebar of the “Categories” setting page of WP-Lister) to use. Then browse to the listing profile and select the new feed template you uploaded in the “Feed template” drop down selector.

Keep in mind, when creating the custom feed template you need to only select 1 marketplace during the feed template creation, WP-Lister does not support using multi marketplace feed templates (but you can list to multiple marketplaces with WP-Lister, just not with multi marketplace feed templates).

Then once you have downloaded the feed template you generated you could modify it even further by adding or removing fields before uploading it to WP-Lister.

You can open up the XLSM file from Amazon that you download and navigate to the template sheet then add a new column like from the image below:

In order to change the Amazon template file, you first have to “Un-protect the sheet” in your spreadsheet application.

    Kind regards,
    John

    Hi,
I removed the attributes that I don’t want to update but when loading the model it gives me this error:
There was a problem creating a new feed template. Please report this to WP Lab support. Template: Version=2021.1012

    Thanks

    Hi,
I’m sorry but this method doesn’t work!
bullet poings are overwritten even if they are not in the feed and the keywords are not entered on Amazon.

What else can Platinium Keywords be used for?

Lastly, the country of origin is not entered in the parent product.

    Can you help me?
we are unable to use the plugin in these sections. Does the paid version solve?

    Thanks
    Marco

    Hi @marcoburlando

Did you add bullet points in the edit product page? Those would be added to Amazon when listing with WP-Lister because the edit product page will always over ride the listing profile: https://docs.wplab.com/article/112-listing-profile-vs-edit-product-page

As far as I am aware the platinum keywords can only be used for platinum sellers. If you are not a platinum seller, you cannot use those fields.

As for the missing “country of origin” field:

We don’t have any control over this.

Amazon controls what fields exist in feed templates and what fields are required.

This means you need to provide a value for the “country of origin” field.

Unfortunately Amazon is always adding new required fields to their feed templates which requires users to update their feed templates from time to time.

You can click the “Add products via upload” menu option in the “inventory” section of your Amazon account in the top menu then go through step 1 and 2 and then click “Generate template” button to create your own custom feed templates which you can download and upload to WP-Lister (in the right hand sidebar of the “Categories” setting page of WP-Lister) to use. Then browse to the listing profile and select the new feed template you uploaded in the “Feed template” drop down selector. You then will be able to provide a value for the “country of origin” field.

We have supported uploading custom Amazon feed templates to WP-Lister since version: 0.9.14.

No, these cases have nothing to do with pro vs lite.

    Kind regards,
    John
