I’ve turned off the favorites function so that clients no longer see a heart on the images in their gallery. But I still want to remove the link to “favorites” from the side bar menu.

I’m using the 2013 Sunshine Photo Cart design since I liked it better than the way my own theme integrated.

Does anyone know how to remove that link?

    Thanks!

  • Go to Sunshine > Settings > Pages, unselect the Favorites page

    Hi,

I tried that, but when I deselect the page, my whole website gets affected. My homepage switches to a giant version of my logo with a ton of text and code in tiny print below it.

Any alternate way to remove that faovurites link from the sidebar?

    Thanks!

Update to 2.2.8 and deselect the Favorites page in Sunshine > Settings > Pages, I think this should resolve your issues. If your whole site is being affected by this one small change, then you need to try using a default WordPress theme and disable all non-Sunshine plugins and test again – it should not bring down your whole site and there may be a conflict with something else you have active.
