Remove featured images in particular categories

  • please help me to remove featured images in particular categories
    my website have 4 category and i wanna remove featured image from particular category archive (only site dot com/category/news/). Like as list post without thumbnail only for this category
    is it possible ?

    *which theme is active? display of featured image is controlled by theme and can be customized with some conditional coding to the theme.

    *if you don’t feel comfortable changing theme files, you could try to target the specific category class and use CSS i.e. display:none to hide the featured image.
