Remove filtered options without clicking

    Hi,

    I have a filterable dropdown list. When user selected multiple options to be filtered the table works great. I was wondering if there is a way to not have the options show under the dropdown.

    Right now, users have to click the word under the dropdown to remove filter. Instead of going back to the dropdown to click to remove.

    Is there a way to get rid of that?

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    I see what you mean, but due to how the ColumnFilterWidgets Extension (I assume that you are using that) works, this is not currently possible.

    However, there might be an alternative: The Individual Column Filtering feature module that is part of the TablePress premium versions can do this. It adds filter dropdowns in the table head row which allow one choice, and don’t add the selections below.
