Remove foot credit, add my own

    I cannot find where to remove the word press credit and make it my own. Or at a minimum, at me next to it. I’ve tried every footer and blog option in the theme. Twenty Seventeen

    Please go to your dashboard > Tools > Remove footer credits > and in step 1 add the code below:

		Proudly powered by WordPress	</a>
</div><!-- .site-info -->

    and in Step 2 add your own text > save.

    My challenge is I don’t have a “Remove footer credits”.

    My choices when I hover over tools are:

    Available tools

    Import

    Export

    Site Health

    export Personal data

    Erase Personal Data

    Advanced reset WP

    Please install this plugin first. Go to Plugins > add new > search for Remove footer credits > install > active. Once it’s installed and active please follow the steps above.

    Ah, didn’t see the plug in part. Thanks so much, it worked perfectly.
