Remove footer links; add ? info

  • Greetings!

    I need to remove this line at the bottom of my theme:

    Elegant WordPress Themes | Powered by WordPress

    I would like to replace with:
    ? 2012 H2DesignTeam

    I have been reading for 3 days and trying out various code and messing up my template each time, so I thought maybe I should just ask for some help.

  • please contact the theme seller for support with this commercial theme.

    this WordPress forum is not able to help with problems concerning commercial themes as there is no free access to all theme files.

    Thank you for your reply, alchymyth. I assumed (wrongly) that since the coding included a link for WP, it was something standard in all themes.
