    Hi!
First, big congratulations – I was skeptical of the cache performance claims, but delighted when I saw huge gains on my sites! Wow!

Just one little (I hope) question… on each WP page there’s an option to “remove from wordfence cache”. Does that permanently remove it from the cache, or just temporarily? I ask because I don’t see an option to re-add it.

    Thanks very much!
    Dave

  • HI

Thanks for the kind words. We really try to add as much value to the plugin to help our community members get the best of performance and security.

I’m going to clarify that with the dev team to be sure I’m answering correctly and will get back to you as soon as I can.

    thanks!

    Thanks Tim,
You know what, I think I may have found the answer… in the Performance Setup, there’s a Cache Exclusions setting, and I’m guessing that any non-cached pages might show up there, and then be removable?

I’ll wait until that’s confirmed before marking it as solved.

    Thx! Dave

Ok, so what OI found out is that is a cache clear button for that page only. We offer a way for you to clear the whole site cache at once, but this is more of a one off, incase you typed something you shouldn’t have, like the winner of a contest you were having too early. So, the cache rebuilds the page when it gets visited a few times.

There is a page exclusion on the performance setup page that you can use if you needed that.

    Tim,
That clarifies very nicely, and also sounds like the most sensible approach.

    Thanks again!

I know you answered this question, however, I’m still not quite clear. Should I remove cache on each page? I just installed everything (after a hack). It’s a fairly new site.

    Thank you! ??
