Remove Google fonts and host locally

Hi, thanks for reaching out. We’ll release an update this week that’ll allow you to switch to Bunny Fonts as follows:

add_filter( 'siteorigin_web_font_url', function( $url ) {
	return 'https://fonts.bunny.net/css';
} );

Alternatively, you can return the above false and not load any web fonts. The above filter can be used in a child theme, custom plugin or the Code Snippets WordPress plugin after the next Corp release.

Thanks for your answer! So am I correct that currently, until the next release, there is no way to remove the link to Google fonts? And is there an estimated release date for that update?

The next Corp update will be released this week. A quick method of removing the Google Fonts link now would be to use https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/host-webfonts-local/.

The update is out. The filter in my first reply can be used within Code Snippets plugin to switch to Bunny Fonts which is GDPR compliant. Thanks.
