    Hello,
How can I remove GA code left by the monsterinsight lite plugin?
The plugin version and my WP version were not compatible since April 2019. I deactivated the plugin but it did not delete the code. Could not reactive the plugin so I removed it. But the code is still there. I cannot uprade WP at the moment.
Checked header, footer and functions.php but the code is not there so I cannot delete it. I have no other SEO plugins installed.
How should I remove the code?
    Thanks

    Hi there,
If you’ve removed the plugin then the code you are seeing can’t be coming from MonsterInsights.

Likely, you have a GA code entered in a theme options panel.

We’re more than happy to help track down where it’s coming from if you submit a ticket at MonsterInsights.com/lite-support/

    Thanks Chris
I sent the email to MonsterInsights.com/lite-support/ one week ago. Got the automated reply and that’s about it.
I doubled checked, my theme does not have GA code in its options.
All plugns that may insert GA code are either deleted or off.
I still believe it is monsterInsights related. As I tried to update the plugin it was impossible due to too old version It kind of ‘locked’ on a grayed out setting screen and nothing could be done but delete it
