Remove Gradient in Slider Photo in Simple Catch Theme

  • Hi! I’d like to remove the gradient in the slider photos in the Simple Catch theme. I’m not very technical so can you also explain step-by-step how I can make the necessary changes?

    No, my site isn’t live yet as I’m migrating an existing site and I don’t want it to be active until it’s ready to go.

    Do I need the site to be active in order to remove the gradient on the slider photos on the Simple Catch theme?

    Hi conniehum,
    There is a option in theme options of simplecatch to remove the gradient. Just go to Appearance->Featured Slider->Slider effect options. You will see Disable slider background effect checkbox, just check it and the gradient is disabled.
