Remove Group Name from Event Title in List View

I am reopening this thread that was closed more than 3 years ago – https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/remove-group-name-from-event-title-in-list-view/ – obviously, editing a plugin’s core files is not a good solution (though it’s what I did).

Is it possible to remove the group name from the individual event in list view?

I am only using a single group, but in the widget and shortcode for the list view, the group name is displayed before the event name. It doesn’t make much sense to list the group name when there is only one group in the list.

How about a code snippet for the functions.php file?
