Remove Highlight Icon?

How do I remove an icon associated with a Highlight? For example, I selected the “user” icon for Highlight 2, but now I don’t want to use any icon. I tried removing it by selecting or clicking on it again, but that didn’t remove the icon. I don’t see any other interface options or choices for de-selecting or removing a Highlight icon so that it no longer appears. Thanks in advance.
