• Hi, I am migrating my website from Weebly to WordPress. I’ve created all the pages with exact matching URL’s and am using a plugin, “Add HTML to Page” so that all my regular page url’s match my Weebly site perfectly. It works great.

The only problem is, Weebly doesn’t use .html in the URL for the blog, only for pages. Since I installed the plugin, it is adding .html to my main blog page on WordPress.

I’m afraid this won’t be good for SEO, people will get an error.

I didn’t post this in the plugin’s section because I thought someone might just know how to disable it on one page? Or if someone knows another way to only have .html on all pages EXCEPT the blog?

PS) I can’t change it in the main permalinks settings – I had already tried that and while it will work for regular pages, it forces my blog page and posts to generate ‘page not found’ errors.

So to sum it up, I need all links on my sites EXCEPT the blog and blog posts to end with .html.

    Anyone have an idea? Thanks.
