As per my previous post I have trawled through most posts on the subject. I’ve managed to remove the grey border from around my images. But I want to push them closer together still. What am I missing?

    I am using a child-theme.

  • Hey. I can’t seem to find any images on your site. Could you direct me to the page/s that you wish to customise?

Guesswork: Try using border: none; and reducing any values for padding and margin between the images.

I’m working on the blog in a different location for the time being. The grey borders are gone but as per my previous question I’d like to push them closer together. I think I might have cracked it but now the issue is I want the caption to move closer to the its image (i.e. higher up)…

I see you’ve fixed this issue by reducing the value of margin-top for the .wp-caption .wp-caption-text CSS selector?

I did for the images with captions but unfortunately the space between images without captions is still too large. any ideas?

There’s a margin-bottom value of 1.625em being applied on the images’ surrounding <p> tags. This needs to be removed or reduced in order to sort out the large spacing.
