Remove images from widget listing

As stated in my previous post I am a non-techy volunteer running a community website. Event list seemed ideal for putting a diary on our site and it is.

My second question is there a simple way of stopping images being displayed in only the widget listing? I would like them to display on the pages the Events List shortcode is, but not in the widget area. There are options in the widget to turn off things like start time, location and content, but the not image.

If it is not simple enough for me to turn them off, could it be added to the plug-in in the near future?
