Remove Index.php from permalink

is it possible to remove the index.php part of the permalink structure after an import?
i would like a permalink structure of https://mysite.com/sample-post/
It seems like the structure must be https://mysite.com/index.php/sample-post/ for things to work after an importhttps://www.ads-software.com/plugins/all-in-one-wp-migration/
