    Hello
    Is it possible to remove jquery with Autoptimize? If not, how can jquery be removed? Thank you for your help.

    Hey Steve;
    AO does not remove JS I’m afraid (well technically it could) it optimizes it, but it can simply be removed (dequeued) with a couple of lines of code, for examples see e.g. https://mariushosting.com/how-to-completely-remove-jquery-from-wordpress/

    hope this helps,

    GTMetrix says that the above the fold LCP image is lazy loaded and that this increases LCP timing. However, I have Autoptimize set to lazy load after the 2nd image. Why is the LCP image lazy loaded? Is the LCP image usually the featured image? Thank you for your help.

    in that case try lazyloading from the 3rd or 4th image and see if that helps. alternatively you can exclude the LCP image using the filename.

    The file name will differ with each post so I will try your suggestion of lazy loading from the 3rd or 4th image. Thanks for your help.
