    Hi,
I can’t remove the “leave a reply” section on my website: eattherichveganfood.com (admired theme). I’ve looked online at many posts for how to do this, but they don’t seem to work for me. I’m fairly new to this and have been figuring it out as I go (with greatly appreciated help). I actually wouldn’t mind having it stay on 1 or 2 of my pages. Is there a way to get rid of it altogether, or on individual pages? I’ve tried deleting some script from the page> editor that i was prompted to do by one post online, but it turns out that the script didn’t exist in the page>editor on my website. any ideas?

  • The ‘leave a reply’ section is for commenting. You can decide which pages and/or posts allow comments by going in to edit a post and click on the ‘screen options’ tab in the upper-right. Check the ‘discussions’ checkbox and then look below the editor. You should see a box that allows you to choose whether or not to allow comments.

If you decide you want to NOT allow comments more often than not, then I would suggest disabling comments by default. You can do this by going into Settings > Discussion and unchecking ‘Allow people to post comments on new articles’. Then you don’t have to worry about comments unless you specifically allow people to post them.
