Remove 'Leave a Response' link from functions.php

  • Is it possible to create a function to remove the link at the bottom of posts that says ‘Leave a response’ or ‘1 response’ etc?

    And if it is, is it then possible to only remove it from posts that are in certain categories?

    Any help with this would be much appreciated.

  • might be possible with css, if the theme uses post_class() on the post div, and if the ‘leave a reply’ link has it own css class.
