• Hi,

I want to stretch my site title across a larger area with a lot of letter spacing. I’ve added some letter spacing, however that also adds letter spacing after the last character.

I understand it is possible to create a negative margin of 100px to at least center the title and somewhat achieve what I want—however that still means the text underline (and object) stretches out 100px to the right.

Thanks for any help and have a wonderful weekend.

Hey @jfans8yg19 – this is a great question but I’m afraid it doesn’t have a satisfying answer. What you’re seeing is the default (and expected) behaviour of the letter-spacing CSS property. I did a quick bit of research, and there’s not really a way to change that – other than by adding a negative margin like you mentioned.

@jordesign thank you for the quick answer, wow, that’s unsatisfying! Is there any other way I could achieve this sort of “drawn out” letter effect over a larger area? Thank you very much!
