Mahvash Fatima, sorry I don’t understand it. I log in, nothing is changed, so what is it you gave me in advance? Where is it? I still don’t see how to remove menu 1 and menu 2, or the author and date of a post?
    Please help..

Download the zip file from here https://github.com/memash/powen-lite

    • Save it to the Desktop
    • Change the file name to powen-lite
    • Go to WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > Themes > Add New > Upload Theme > Choose file > Desktop > powen-lite > Install Now > Activate
    • To remove the author and date of the post:
Go to Visit Site > Customize > Content
    • To remove the menus
Go to Visit Site > Customize > Navigation

Thank you for all of this. I activated the zipfile and could remove the author and date, but not the menu’s. There is just no option for… just to select any menu and it still shows on the website. What am I doing wrong?

An updated version of Powen Lite is available. You can update to powen-lite 1.2.0

    To remove the menu:
Navigate to: Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Navigation > hide

Thank you for helping us. I update the last version ( 1.2.1 ), I find “Content” but not “Navigation”… What can I do for removing the second menu please?

I guess you are using the old version of wordpress. If so please update it now so you can see the Navigation Option.

I use the version 4.3 of wordpress and 1.2.1 of Powen lite theme, I don’t know why it doesn’t work…

I am not able to replicate the issue. Please email me your wordpress dashboard login username and password so I can have a look.

I am also using version 4.3 and 1.2.1 and am facing the same issue as “lijasparrow” i can’t Navigate

There is still no navigation button to edit in powen lite 1.2.1 wordpress 4.3
How can I hide the menu’s in this theme?

Please wait, I will update the theme very soon.

    Hey,

I have an issue with the menu options using the Powen Lite theme, but I believe mine is a different issue to that addressed already.

When you visit my blog: https://www.scampinchips.co.uk at the top left hand corner there are two menu boxes. One opens up to the left, and the other to the right.

I only want one of these showing, as I don’t have two separate menus, I simply have one main navigation.

How do I do this? I feel like I have tried everything, but they both remain there!

The upcoming version of Powen Lite will have the new option for customizing the menu. The wordpress has not made the update available yet. You would need to wait for wordpress to make the update available.

Is the new version still not available…?
I still have same issue as above.
Somehow I could hide the menu button earlier (I guess few hours ago) in the customizing page but now I can’t find any place where I can find “hide menu”.

I have uploaded the theme but the wordpress has not made the update available yet. Please wait, I will send a request to wordpress to make the update available soon.
