Remove multiple shipping options in cart…?

    Im getting acquainted with shipping in WC for the first time – very unsure of what Im doing! Im using the Weight based Shipping plugin for most products – so far so good.

    However, a few products are not weight based and shipping must be charged at a flat rate.

    I added a shipping class for those products, and then a flat rate in shipping methods. IN that flat rate I have added the flat rate cost to the shipping class.

    But now in my cart, both shipping methods are visible and either can be selected. See screenshot.

    How can I ensure that ONLY the correct shipping method for the chosen item is visible in the cart.?

    By default, WooCommerce doesn’t have a tool to do that.

    The easiest way is to upgrade to the Plus version of the plugin, supporting shipping classes. You can set it up to charge either a flat or a progressive fee for certain shipping classes. Here is a fully-functional demo staging to check if it works for you.

    Thanks for your response Dan. I have the Plus version and I seem to have the shipping class working (I think), but I cant figure out how to have different shipping rates for different items in the cart – e.g. Some items need weight based shipping added and some are a flat rate. Is there any documentation for the plugin on how to have multiple rates n the cart – but not ones that the customer can choose themselves?
