Remove NextGEN Gallery

@d97jes – If you have deactivated and deleted the plugin then there is nothing there that should be used. Have you verified via FTP to ensure the folders and files for the plugin were actually removed from your site?

Under the folder plugin there is no folder related to NextGEN, but under wp-content there is a folder left called ngg-styles which might be related to the plugin?

@d97jes – The folder is meant to contain any custom NextGEN Gallery stylesheets. You can remove it at any time without effect on your site.

I have now deleated the nng-styles folder too, but still the runtime is 8% nextgen even though I cannot see any signes of using nextgen….?

@d97jes – If there are no NextGEN Gallery related folders or files then there should be no reason for any NextGEN Gallery activity. Perhaps there is something cached on your site/server?

I have cleared my browser’s cash.
I have emptied the page cash within W3 Total.
NextGen is no longer within my list of plugins.
I cannot see any folders which I can relate to NextGen (maybee I have missed some? how can I know which to look for?)
I profiled my WordPress site’s performance using the Profile Plugin and I wanted to share the results with you. Please take a look at the information below at the bottom of this message.
I really want to get rid of all NextGen activity…

Please send us a Bug Report (https://nextgen-gallery.com/report-bug/ … please reference this topic) with log in and FTP credentials for your WordPress installation and we will have a closer look at this with the premise, as you are wanting, to help you remove NextGEN Gallery from your site.
