Remove "No Comments" from Home Page & articles

    I have comments disabled for other pages (through Quick Edit in Pages) but don’t see the home page listed there. How can I remove the comments option from the Home Page and posts and also remove the line that says “No Comments” from the article exceprts on the Home Page and from the full articles themselves?

    Hi, Deb:

    Just beware that the editing of any theme file is not recommended. If you install an updated version of the theme in the future because of feature enhancements, bug fixes, or security patches, or if the theme has to be updated because of a change to the WordPress core, then your changes will be lost. Instead, create a child theme and make your changes to a copy of the PHP file that you want to modify.
