The database upgrade message appears across all pages and in some cases in weird areas of other plugin pages. Most notably I’ve noticed on all WooCommerce pages. I have a customer who is really confused by this. Is there a way to have that message only appear on the main Dashboard or only on the EDD pages?

    Hi @mymothersdaughter

Could you please take a screenshot of that message to see exactly what you are referring to?

    Hi @mymothersdaughter

That is an upgrade that needs to be run. What happens when you click on that and you run the upgrade on the website?

I understand what I’m supposed to do there. My question was how do we remove it from WooCommerce pages because it confuses the user. See screenshot.

It doesn’t stay at the top, it moves positions. Is there some way to have the notice appear only on the dashboard landing page or only EDD related pages?

    Hey @mymothersdaughter

You need to run the upgrade and once it is done the notice will go away.

Hello, I understand that I will need to run the upgrade, my question for the second time is why is it showing up on WooCommerce pages and how can that be removed. It is confusing for the customer. It should not be smooshed in there in any manner on WooCommerce and it moves from the top of the page (Dashboard) to the middle of the page on WooCommerce. How can we resolve this? How can we REMOVE that or MOVE that?

    Hey @mymothersdaughter

We don’t have a way to move it at this time as it is added using the core admin_notices functionality in WordPress.
It is an important upgrade for EDD that needs to run and I believe it was added to be visible in the entire admin area to stress it’s importance.

    Regards
