Remove of Home button in whispy theme

I don’t want the “Home” post in the bottom bar of the whispy theme. I would rather have it as a post which allows more flexability. How do I get rid of it. If I go to “All Posts” then select the Home post then trash it, the contents of the post goes away but not the “Home” button. Any ideas?? I actually am running WordPress 4.0 Beta. Does any body know how I can get back to 3.9.1???
