Remove or edit hard-coded text, styles, tables
-
Hello. I’m finding things in Super Socializer that are hard-coded and difficult to change. The shortcode adds the line “Link your social account to login to your account at this website” and I would very much like to completely remove this in favor of my own wording. It is not only written into the code, but it’s inside a tag (not the styling I would use), which is inside a table (which is being used for layout, it seems). There is also a <br> (without the /) in that table cell that I need to hide.
I have the shortcode on a created page, and have the page slug as part of the body tag for customization. I can target this text and the subsequent <br />, but without a class selector, hiding the text also hides the “Google” part of “Connected with Google”. Hiding it is not ideal anyway.
Is there a better option, or is there a customization setting I’ve missed? It would be preferred for plugins to allow the user to do their own styling and wording, and not be beholden to the plugin author’s styles and way with words.
