Remove or Hide Address Balloons

    Is there any way to turn off the address balloon? I want people to be able to get a general idea of the location, but not see the exact address. My site is membership based, and individual members can host events – hence the need for some level of privacy.

    No, that is not possible. This plugin shows live maps. It sounds you want to show a static Google Map. Look in the EM docs for more info about that.

    Also “a central idea” makes no sense if you merely hide the marker, as the map is always centered around the marker. So, any viewer can simply zoom in the get the exact address after all.

    Ah. I see what you mean. When I zoom in, the marker sits on the address number.

    You’re right, I may need a static Google map, though I really don’t want to go that route.

    Thanks for making this plugin available, though. It’s great.
