Remove overlay navigation on right-sidebar

Hi, with some pages on my friend’s blog, I get this unwanted ‘overlay’ navigation sidebar on the righthand side (search/pages/archives/categories)
On all the other pages I’ve made the template ‘full width’ and that has avoided this problem.
However I can’t see that option for Posts (which is what this page is).
I thought I might just hide the sidebar altogether in style.css but I need it to show the download CV and Contact options on the home page.
The theme is the ePhoto theme by Elegant Themes but they aren’t providing any support.
Your help is greatly appreciated!
