Remove pages from header but now pages widget?

  • Hi,

    I want to remove pages from the main navigation bar of my website but keep them in the pages widget.

    I have tried using the plugin ‘exclude pages’ but by using this it means that the page will not appear in the right hand column ‘pages’ widget.

    Any ideas would be great appreciated!

  • Do you know how you added the main nav?
    Did you use the Menu (under Appearance) or hardcode it?

    Thanks for your reply, Im using a theme called optimise press. It was the default navigation bar.

    I see, some of my clients use OP and sometimes asking similar questions ??

    If you go to Appearance > Menus, you will see Theme Locations in the top left. There will be two options, Membership Menu and Blog Menu.

    Make changes to the Menu which has been assigned to the Theme Locations.
