Remove Payments Notification

    On my dashboard, alongside Payments in left hand panel, is a (1) in a red circle notification. If I click on this, it’s asking me to set up WooCommerce Payments. I don’t want to set that up, as I have already set up Stripe (and am in the process of setting up PayPal, if I can get the blinking thing to work!).

    How do I get rid of this notification?

    Ok – what a plonker, Rodney!

    Turns out this is a plugin which was automatically loaded when I created WooCommerce. Because it was in the list of WC plugins, I didn’t realise it was an “extra”. I deactivated it and the notification has disappeared.

    Leaving this here for anyone else who has a similar issue.
