Remove Personal Info fields from Offline Donation

You mean the first/last name and email address? That has been standard since day one of Give. The first name and email address are required for Reports and to allow donors to see their Donation History. There is currently no way to remove those fields at all in any payment gateway.

Hey @brettintherye – The “Personal info” first name and email fields are required for reporting. You can however remove the last name field if you’d like to reduce the number of fields on the page.

Can you let me know a little bit more about why you would want to remove those fields? Thanks!

@dlocc Devin thank you for your reply. I only want to display information for donors to be able to mail me a check when they select “offline donation”. This is my reason.

I understand. In that case, you’re probably better off adding some messaging above or below the donation form that says “Want to Give Offline?” which would then link over to a page explaining how to give offline without entering any information.

How do I disable Billing Details on donation form? Can you guys enable some setting on your plugin? Because I didn’t see any setting for that.

Hey @faizedz,

You can do that by login into you Websites Dashboard and go to Donations > Settings > Payment Gateways and select the Payment Gateway for which you want to disable the Billing Details.

Click on Disable option of Billing Details to disable the billing details
