Remove Place order button when Paypal checkout is selected

    When the user select Paypal payment gateway option, I still see the “Place order” button along with Paypal button.
    I would like to remove it because when the user click Place order button under Paypal checkout, then I get new order with “Pending payment”, it confuses for my shop as i really want only get new order with Processing status.

    How can i remove place order button under Paypal check out only, for other payment otions i still nee the Place order button.

    I tested this with both PayPal Standard and PayPal Checkout and the Place Order button disappears for me.

    This kind of problem is usually caused by either a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.

    The best way to determine this is to:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

    If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict.
