Remove post comments on default page

I am fairly new to WordPress and as I am hosting the site myself. I hope I am posting in the correct place. I am working with the Twenty Ten 1.2 by the WordPress team.

I need help with getting rid of the following information, currently listed on the home page. Here is a link to my site: https://mark.kreativefuzion.com/ and I would like to remove the following from the page. The name of the page is Home and it was formally the 1st post page, however I don’t want to have post on the page. Here is the information I would like to remove:

I’ve tried everything to remove thoes pages, but I think its might be a problem since it was a post and not a page. If I can not get rid of that information and use this post as a page, it there anyway to hide this page. Thanks in advance.
