Are you using a child theme?

try with CSS via a ‘custom CSS’ plugin or the custom CSS section of your theme if exists:

.home span.date { display: none; }

if this does not work, please contact your theme’s developer for support with your question.

@alchymyth My theme doesn’t have a custom CSS section (that I could detect, anyway) so I downloaded a custom CSS plugin and that worked brilliantly! Thank you!
