Remove post publish date OR show updated date

    The theme is great. Google search is only showing publish dates for my articles. I searched online and came to know that publish date needs to be removed from my theme.
    1. How can I remove Publish date from Maxwell theme?
    2. Is there a way to show Update date in Maxwell theme?

    Since I can’t edit the above question, I’ll just add that my ultimate purpose is to show “Last Updated on ” date at the top of the article, instead of “Published on”.

    I’m sorry to tell you that the theme does not support that.

    The only way to achieve that is to create a child theme and override the entry_date() function to display the modified instead of the published date. You can find the code of the function on https://github.com/ThemeZee/maxwell/blob/master/inc/template-tags.php#L225

    You need some skills in WordPress development or hire a freelancer to do this.
