Remove prefix product-brands from URL.

    Is possible to remove prefix product-brands from URL:
    https://plugins.yithemes.com/yith-woocommerce-brands-add-on/product-brands/
    it gives the 404 Error Message

    Ideal result example:
    default: /product-brands/adidas/ – changed: /adidas/

    I did the same for product categories URL with Rank Math SEO plugin,
    Removed prefix from category URL.
    default: /product-category/accessories/action-figures/ – changed: /accessories/action-figures/

    But, the Rank Math SEO doesn’t provide solutions for other plugins.

    What are your suggestions for the problem?

    there is nothing that I could do to help you obtaining this result, without possibly breaking permalink structure of other pages

    As far as I know, WordPress doesn’t offer you this option neither
    This is a link to WordPress Codex that describes function to register a custom taxonomy
    The section that we need to check is rewrite

    The rewrite value is the one used as “prefix” in terms links
    Just to give you an example, if you set rewrite value to “brand” all your brands’ link will be something like

    www.mysite.com/brand/my-brand

    As you can read in the Codex
    ‘slug’ – Used as pretty permalink text (i.e. /tag/) – defaults to $taxonomy (taxonomy’s name slug)
    leaving an empty value for this parameter, will simply force default value
    For this reason there is no way to completely remove “prefix” section of the url
