Hi all, we have a print store and we sell printing products and we faced the following problem

1 – we have not found a normal plugin that could solve our problem with the calculation of complex formula for products – we decided to specify product options and quantity and immediately specify the price (verables).

And as soon as we wrote all prices in the line veriables then the button quantity by product we just do not need because the quantity we have specified in verables.

But we encountered this problem, if you put a check mark on the individual product – then the product can be ordered only once – which is not suitable for us.

How can we remove Quantity Field from the product page, but so that the product can be ordered several times??

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hey there, @icehammerlv! Thanks for contacting us. I’m happy to help you.

And as soon as we wrote all prices in the line veriables then the button quantity by product we just do not need because the quantity we have specified in verables.

As I understand you don’t want to add stock quantity on the product, correct?

If this is not what you meant, can you please share more details about the issue and your goal so we can assist you further?
If screenshots can help you explain, please share them here ??
I recommend using https://snipboard.io. You can share the direct link to the image as a response to this topic.

But if I did understand correctly, you can make sure the option “manage stock” is not checked on the variations. This will allow you to have the product without having to add stock quantity ??

I hope this was clarifying. Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help or if you have any questions.

    Have a wonderful day!

good afternoon – we filled our item using fixed quantity – we specified the fixed quantity via variables.

Why we used variables – because the more you buy the lower the price will be

    For example – 1 item costs 25$ and 50 items cost 290 (290/50 = 5.8$ per item).

Also we have a lot of additional options affect the price.

If we leave the option of quantity of goods – we have a silly situation where the customer can choose for example 2 times 25 – but the price will not be correct 162 + 162 = 322 ( and should be 290) https://snipboard.io/UZhe1c.jpg.

But if we remove the “quantity of goods” then the client will have one opportunity to choose 50 https://snipboard.io/OKkLAx.jpg at once and the price will be correct.

If we have removed the quantity of goods – then the client can not upload for example 2 identical goods but different designs – because we have removed the quantity of goods using the option “Sold individually”.

Thanks for your advice but there is some problem )
For example we have a business card with size 90mmX 50mm

customer can choose type of lamination and also type of cardboard ( 150h 250g 400g 350g )
Also we have a dynamic price for bulk purchase – you buy more the price will be less.

Here is the formula how we do the calculation for our customers.
product m2 * paper size * quantity * paper price per 1kg = product price

    For example;
    – One Business card 90x50mm = 0.0045m2 as we got it ( 0.09*0.050) – this option can be chosen by customer as product variation.
    – paper size = 350g – this option can be chosen by the customer as a product variation.
    – quantity = 100 – this option can be selected by the customer as a variation of the product
paper price per 1kg = 58EUR/kg – this option is not visible to the customer and we calculate this price ourselves. If the client wants to buy a small amount of paper, 1 kilogram of paper will cost 58 euros, if the client wants to buy 10000 business cards, the price for 1 kilogram will be for him already 16 euros.

    How we calculate the lamentation;
    (product m2 * quantity) * price/m2 = lamination price
It is the same here – the more the customer buys the less the price per square meter of lamination will be.

    Here is an example
    – One Business card 90x50mm = 0.0045m2 as we got it ( 0.090.050). 100 business cards will be = 0.45m2 ( 0.0045100)
    – 1 m2 of lamination costs us 23EUR if the client buys little – for example 100 business cards, if the client buys 10’000 business cards, the price per square meter of lamination will be only 1,5 EUR.
and this is how it looks like in figures
    0,0045m2 * 100 * 23 EUR/m2 = 10,35 €.

The same formula is used for the corner.

And the final price for business cards with lamination and choice of corners looks like this.
Basic product price for 100 Bussines cards with lamination and corners
(product m2 * paper size * quantity * paper price per 1kg) = product price
    0.0045 * 0.350g * 100 * 58 EUR/kg = 9.13 EUR

    Lamination price
    (product m2 * quantity) * price/m2 = lamination price
    (0,0045 * 100) * 23 EUR/m2 = 10,35 EUR

    Corners price ( 1m2 = 8 EUR for 100 business cards)
    (product m2 * quantity) * price/m2 = corners price
    (0,0045 * 100) * 8 EUR/m2 = 3.6 EUR

    So Final price for Basic product price to 100 Bussines card with lamination and corners is;

product price + lamination price + corner price = Final price
    9,13 € + 10,35 € + 3.6 € = 23,08 EUR

Can your plugin realize this for us?

    Hello icehammerlv,

    Thank for your detailed explanation.

My understanding is that among all the factors, quantity is the key factor.
It affects the product price the most.

It would be best if you contact the?Advanced Product Quantity for WooCommerce?plugin?support and ask this as a pre-sales question. On the right-hand side of the plugin page you will find Get Support link.
That will take you to a form where you can ask all the questions about the plugin features.

Please note that this plugin comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee.
If something does not work right for you, you can always get your money back.

    I hope this helps. ??
