remove publish date from book page

  • How can I remove the published date (from under the title) on my book pages?

    Also – it shows “January 28, 2020 by” under the title. I didn’t add an author, so is there any way to remove the word “by” as well? This seems like a bug.

  • I use this plugin and I’ve never seen it put the date on the book pages before. I’m guessing this is being added by your theme? Can you include a link to your site so we can see it in action?

    The site is still under construction – but here is a link to the book page in question.

    Under the book title, it shows: “January 28, 2020 by ”

    So – apparently at some point in time prior to me taking this over, there was some code put in to add regular post support to the book pages in order to allow a side bar. I removed this code and we are back in business.

    Now, I just need to figure out how to center the book title on the page instead of having it left justified
